UNINA Description

The Department of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Production (DMVPA) of the University of Naples Federico II (UNINA) carries out educational, research and public engagement activities in the field of animal sciences

The aim of the research activity is to promote innovation in the health system and in the production processes of food producing animals.

Three units of the DMVPA, which already collaborate in teaching and research activities, are involved in InSusAgri, namely,

i) the Unit of Parasitology and Parasitic Diseases (Prof. Laura Rinaldi and Prof. Antonio Bosco)

ii) the Unit of Animal Nutrition (Prof. Monica Cutrignelli and Prof. Serena Calabrò), and

iii) the Unit of Animal Breeding (Prof. Angela Salzano and Prof. Valentina Longobardi)

The UNINA team will coordinate the mobilization of the members of the Regional Farmers' Association (Campania and Molise regions) during the exchange visit in order to share the best practices with the Farmers’ Associations in Greece according to the project activities.
